What crazyness of Dubai cars?

I was going to have dinner at Al Qasr Hotel 2 nights ago, when suddenly at the entrance i saw this car... people were grouping around it all asking the same questions: what is this? what kind of car is it? how much does it cost, WHO OWNS THIS CAR?? .... i can answer most of the questions now after quick research on the internet, its called Pagina by Zonda, engine by mercedes, the car is a 7.3 liter V12 that costs somewhere between EUR 400,000 to 700,000 depending if its base model or the fully loaded one! Obviously i had to act as a tourist and take a few photos, good thing i always carry my camera with me... dont want to miss chances of being a tourist!

I like to sleep!

It was a wonderful party at Freiburg last December 2005,, here you find that it was so exciting that Amelie had no energy left and decided to nap!! Kathleen enjoyed Dubai so much that she was completely out of energy and decided to nap for a few minutes! but dont laugh cause she is now enjoying traveling in India, have fun! Alessandro (AKA the Shark) on one of his hard working days in Dubai... bear in mind he was always falling asleep but this is the only time i was lucky enough to catch him in the act!
Anja isnt really sleeping here, she is actually trying to take a photo at the Germany x Portugal soccer game for 3rd place (where Germany won of course) .. accordingly this photo was taken in the end of June 2006 (or so?) Julia is not really sleeping here, but we had so much fun at Sarai club in Dubai Marin Hotel in June 2005 that at 4 AM everyone would look sleepy when u try to take photo ;) Ahmad has to stop partying, cause i will not stop taking such photos of him! Some people enjoy quick naps in the airport business lounge, this is in the business lounge at Heathrew International Airport - London
Mr. Ahuja enjoys napping all the time, it was inevitable that i take such a photo of him.. i took a few in fact, but this is the most artistic one ;)

She was spotted in the desert safari, and im not sure if she forgot to wear her pants or she thought she was going to the copacabana ... ? not sure if she will survive a walk in Deira ?

Dubai is just an amazing place,,, sometimes my camera lenses catch some stuff that are hmm... out of the ordinary? i assure u its all Dubai... something strange going on,,, hello can i help you? what are u doing here?? can anyone help me out here? use the comment box and tell me ur thoughts on those interesting pics:



Such an interesting view in Jumeirah Public Beach, workers having lunch break or cig break while peeking at white women in bikini ... nice i wish my lunch break had that view!!



A strange animal with a weird tongue (right) was spotted trying to eat a pretty red head named Leena.... no one was injured that night...



Some guy was being raped by two girls at Peppermint club, the guy did not file any complaints.. no one was injured that night also..


500 people stuffed in Trilogy trying to enjoy techno DOM DOM DOM DOM DOM ... not a pretty sight..

Burj Al Arab!!!

The famous Burj Al Arab .. the one and only 7 star hotel in Dubai, i recently invaded this hotel and started to take photos which made the workers in the hotel not very happy, asking me to stop and i just act stupid, later on i realised that it was totally unallowed to take photos inside the hotel. er... ok.. enjoy the photos!







Nice cars, mainly the Phantom (first one on the left) worth approx AED 2.2 Million (EUR 488,000 ). not bad for Burj Al Arab isnt it?
















Just a boring fact: all the photos have been taken with special settings on my Canon S2iS camera with shutter speed of over 1.5 seconds and completely no flash has been used in these photos.

The menu at the Skyview bar, no joke the macallan highland whiskey 1946 the glass is for AED 125 and the bottle is for AED 28,125 (EUR 25 per glass and EUR 6,000 per bottle!) this does not include service charge!! ...... actually im not sure :)

After having a quick look at the menu and the prices, Canadian Angela (left) and Spanish Silvia (right) are both not sure what to order .... eventually we all go for the arabian delight! .. want to know what it is? join me next time at the Burj :)
